Supervision

AAMFT Approved Supervisor | Pennsylvania

Supervision should help you become a better therapist—not simply a therapist who practices like your supervisor.

I provide clinical supervision for therapists who want to strengthen their clinical skills, develop their professional identity, and become more confident and intentional in their work. As an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, I provide supervision grounded in systemic and relational thinking while recognizing that every therapist brings their own experiences, strengths, values, and perspective to the work.

My Approach to Supervision

I view supervision as a collaborative process. My goal is to create a space where you can bring challenging cases, ask difficult questions, examine your clinical decisions, and receive both support and constructive feedback.

We may explore:

  • Clinical conceptualization and treatment planning
  • Working effectively with couples and families
  • Systemic and relational interventions
  • The therapeutic relationship and therapist responses
  • Ethical and professional issues
  • Challenging or complex cases
  • Developing confidence and clinical judgment
  • Your growth and development as a therapist

I also believe that effective supervision should help you understand why you are making a clinical decision—not simply tell you what to do. My role is to help you develop the ability to think critically about your work and ultimately trust your own clinical judgment.

Who I Supervise

I work with clinicians seeking supervision who are motivated to grow and develop their practice, including therapists pursuing MFT licensure and clinicians who want to strengthen their work with couples and families.

While my foundation is in marriage and family therapy, supervision can address the broader clinical work you encounter in practice. My goal is to help you integrate your training, experience, and personal therapeutic style into a practice that is both effective and authentically yours.

Let’s Talk

Finding the right supervisor matters. Supervision should be a relationship where you feel comfortable being challenged, supported, and honest about the work.
